One more leading voice leaves the government and backs People’s Vote campaign for a second referendum (VIDEO)

London – The former Conservative Minister Jo Johnson resigned over Brexit and joined the campaign for a second referendum. He got a standing ovation at the People’s Vote event in London where, among the many speakers from different political parties and regions of the UK, MPs Dominic Grieve, Caroline Lucas, David Lammy stressed how the ruling majority is divided and not able to acknowledge the ongoing change of mind turning many constituencies from pro to against an exit from the EU, regardless the final deal the May might strike with the EU. The event was organised before the government’s unexpected announcement of a draft deal already backed by the Cabinet and which MPs will have to vote.
